How to Play Lightning Roulette?

For the most part, Lightning Roulette follows the same rules and gameplay as classic European Live Roulette.

The game features the same 37-pocket wheel. The numbers 1-36 are evenly split into black and red pockets, while the 0 pocket is green.

Players can use the interface that’s below the video feed to place their bets. You can place bets on a single number, a set of numbers, or on colours.

Besides making a Straight Up bet (i.e betting on one number), players can also wager on:

• Split Bets – 2 adjacent numbers.
• Odd/Even Bet – Bet on odd or even numbers.
• Corner Bet – 4 numbers meeting on the betting area.
• Four Bet – Bet on 0, 1, 2, and 3.
• Street Bet – Bet on 3 numbers on a vertical line (street) on the betting area.
• Line Bet – Bet on 6 numbers on 2 adjacent streets.
• Red/Black Bet – Bet on either coloured bets.
• Column Bet – Bet on 12 numbers on a horizontal line on the betting area.
• Dozen Bet – Bet on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd group of numbers (1 – 12, 13 – 34, or 25 – 36).
• High/Low Bet – Bet on high or low numbers (19 – 36 or 1 – 18).

When playing Lightning Roulette, it’s also possible to put together the following betting patterns that cover other sections of the racetrack betting area.

• Voisins du Zero – Bet on numbers close to 0 on the wheel (numbers between 22 and 25).
• Neighbours Bet – 5 numbers that are next to each other on the wheel.
• Tier Bet – The bet covers about a third of the wheel area opposite 0 (between 27 and 33).
• Orlephins Bet – Bet on 1, 6, 9, 17, 14, 17, 20, 34.

You can also place Final and Complete bets. Lightning Roulette features a traffic light system to show players the current status of the game.

A red light means the betting window has closed. A yellow light is a warning that betting time is almost over, and a green light means you can place your bets.

Unlike in standard roulette where the dealer spins the wheel, the dealer then pulls a lever and the Lightning Roulette wheel is spun automatically.

Pulling the lever also results in between 1 and 5 lucky numbers getting randomly struck by lightning and bring up to 500x returns to players’ stakes. All the winning wagers are then paid out and a new round then begins.

   After betting time closes, the game randomly picks Lightning Numbers. Every round has between one and five Lightning Numbers, which get boosted by a multiplier. The numbers can get a multiplier ranging from 50x to 500x.

   The roulette wheel starts

   While Lightning Numbers are chosen, the wheel starts spinning. The wheel will turn, slowing down until it eventually stops. The number picked by the roulette ball determines the winning number.

   Receive your prize

   The game awards reward to players who correctly predict the winning number. How much you win depends on whether you made a straight-up bet on that number and if it had an active multiplier. After winners receive their prizes, the game starts a new round.

Lightning Roulette features & betting options

As we’ve mentioned before, Lightning Roulette is based on classic Live European Roulette. The game, however, comes with more than a few improvements.

To start with, the studio doesn’t have a typical live roulette feel and setup. Instead, players get what looks like a TV Show.

Even the Lightning Roulette live dealer acts like a game show host. The studio has pillars placed around the wheel, making it look, somewhat, like a temple.

The background consists of red, black, and green, with a golden framing that appears when a lucky number is chosen.

The game quality is, of course, nothing short of exceptional, with sound effects like lightning strikes and thunder.

You receive an HD video straight to your desktop or mobile device, but if the internet connection is a bit weak, you can manually lower the video quality.

You can change the camera angles and change the audio feed to play the dealer’s voice only or the game sounds.

Players can also access game details, such as payouts, bet types, rules, return to player, history menu, help section, and more.
