How to Play Majority Rules Speed Blackjack?

Majority Rules Speed Blackjack follows the Live Blackjack gaming model and rules, but with a few twists and turns.

The goal is to have cards that total more than the dealer’s cards but not exceeding 21. To start a game round, players start by placing their bets.

Like with standard Blackjack, you can place main or side bets, which are:

• Pairs – Win if you score a pair.
• 21 + 3 – Win if your first two cards and dealer’s face-up card form a three-card poker hand.

Once wagers are accepted, the game assesses the number of players on the table. If enough players are seated at the table, the game uses Majority Rules mode, where players’ votes determine the game’s decisions.

If there are not enough players, the game switches to Best Strategy mode or guided play mode, where decisions are made automatically.

The dealer draws one card to himself and two cards face up for players. If the dealer shows an Ace, you’re invited to place an Insurance bet.

If you don’t go with the Insurance bet, you have a variety of other choices to pick from.

While the decision you make goes with regular Blackjack, your decision only makes up one vote in Majority Rules Speed Blackjack.

That’s because the rest of the players must make their decisions and vote on what the next step should be. Do they Hit, Double, Stand, or Split?

Once all players make their decisions, the action most voted for is selected. If 50% of the players vote for a specific decision, the game goes with that decision.

If the votes are split, then the most voted-for decision is taken. Mind you, the consequent action is regardless of the option you choose to go with.

The winning decision is taken, the dealer reveals his card and checks for a standard Blackjack win. Winners are paid accordingly, and that concludes the first round.

The dealer always draws until 16 and stands on 17, just like normal European Blackjack.

For playing decisions linked to Doubles, you’re deciding to either automatically double or not.

For Splits, you’re deciding whether to automatically split your pairs or to only play the right hand.
