Capecod Gaming

Capecod Gaming is an online casino software provider that has been around since 1987. The developer has been primarily working in the Italian market, shifting towards an international audience in recent years.

Players can enjoy a variety of Capecod Gaming slots, as well as blackjack and French roulette tables. All titles can be played on both desktop and mobile.

Overall, the software provider seems well-positioned to make a name for themselves in the coming years. Will they be successful?

  • More than 95 slots to enjoy
  • Two table games: blackjack and French roulette
  • Shortlisted in two categories at the 2020 EGR Italy Awards

Best Capecod Gaming Casinos

Capecod Gaming is by no means a household name. That said, the software provider has managed to successfully make a name for themselves in the last couple of years.

On top of that, Novomatic acquired the developer in 2017. Both of these elements played their part in making Capecod Gaming releases widespread in online casinos.

Picking the best ones has been challenging, but we ultimately settled on the websites you see below.

Capecod Gaming Slots

We love good visuals, but they are not essential to be a successful software provider. Capecod Gaming takes this lesson to heart and focuses more on gameplay than visual fidelity.

Part of it no doubt comes from their background, as they were responsible for porting older slots to online casinos.

Still, their best-looking titles like Cold War and Fruity Breeze feel dated when compared to casino games made by other developers.

If you are willing to make a slot about the Cold War, you are no stranger to experimenting with themes. Sure enough, the developer tried quite a few interesting theme ideas with their online slots over the years.

For example, Don Corlemone blends the Italian mafia with fruits for a rather humorous result. If you prefer common themes, we suggest trying out Brain Dead, Gems of Egypt, and Acme Bank.

Themes are not the only thing Capecod Gaming likes to experiment with. They also enjoy messing around with paylines and playing field sizes.

Lucky BBQ and Bandit Saloon both offer 243 ways to win instead of the usual payline system. Double Fruits plays two 5×3 reels simultaneously.

These titles show that the software provider can do things outside of the box when choosing to do so.

We hope you like special features, because Capecod Gaming’s releases are full of them. Their most popular bonuses include expanding Wilds, re-spins, free spins, and multipliers.

Most of the listed titles are medium and high variance, with a couple of low volatility releases, too. This includes games like Arsene Lupin and Chef & Zen. When it comes to RTP, it tends to be lower the older the casino game is.

Best Capecod Gaming Slots

Capecod Gaming slots still have a ways to go before they can compete with the very best in the business. Regardless, that does not mean the software provider has not produced some quality titles over the years.

Some games will be picked due to their incredible RTP. Others for incredible special features, or just because of how lucrative they are.

Either way, you can safely pick any of these slots if you are looking for a fun time.

Capecod Gaming Games

At the time of our review, the developer has only started to dip their toes into casino games. They have made two releases.

One is a roulette table, while the other is a standard game of blackjack. We do not have a lot to say about blackjack.

If you played it before, you know what to expect. Capecod Gaming has not made any additions to the existing formula.

We did get our hopes up when we saw French roulette, though. Sadly, this only refers to the language of the game itself.

The title does not offer La Partage or En Prison rules. With an RTP of 97.3%, it plays exactly the same as every other European roulette table.

What to expect in the future

Capecod Gaming’s recent award nomination shows the website has the potential to compete with the best. They might not be there yet, but a little bit of time could drastically improve the software provider.

We always welcome more slots, and we can guarantee you that will be the developers’ focus in the near future.

Beyond that, we do not know what the future holds. We hope to see more table games from Capecod Gaming in the future. Sadly, the team’s website has not given any indication they plan to make more blackjacks or pokers.

The team was first formed in 1987, though they did not make much of an impact immediately after launch. Really, the first time people heard of Capecod Gaming was in 2007.

The software provider launched BIGpoker, a 100% Italian poker platform. Just a year later, the developer also made their first steps into the iGaming space.

Up until that point, the software provider was making slots for land-based suppliers. Up until 2013, Capecod Gaming’s job was to port and distribute popular slots from land-based operators to online casinos.

2013 was significant for Capecod Gaming, as it was the first time their slots began being distributed to online operators.

They would spend the next year launching an iGaming platform for mobile devices and ensuring all their slots were in HTML5.

By 2015, all Capecod Gaming’s casino games were available to be played on both desktop and mobile. In 2017, the Novomatic Group bought Capecod Gaming.

The partnership has worked out quite well for both sides. In 2020, the developer was shortlisted for two valuable awards.

The first was the best casino content supplier, while the second award was for the mobile supplier. Sadly, the team did not end up taking the prizes.
