AstroBoomers: To The Moon! Review
Have you ever dreamt of flying off into space to see what lies beyond? While many of us wish we could blast off into space and forget our troubles, that is not possible.
At least, not until Elon Musk perfects that SpaceX rocket of his. In the meantime, we can fill that void with the latest FunFair game, called AstroBoomers: To The Moon.
- Win up to 2500x your total stake
- You set the volatility by deciding when to eject
- Easy to learn and incredibly fun to play
Multiplayer casino games tend to be hit or miss experiences. They are either incredibly well done, or they slowly fade into obscurity.
This release definitely feels like the first category. Snappy visuals and fast rounds make it easy to be engaged with the action on the screen.
There are no special features to draw your attention here. Your success relies solely on your luck, as well as how risky you want to play the game.

Theme, Graphics and Sounds
Space-themed releases always do relatively well. It does not take much effort to whip up a few distant stars and the vastness of outer space.
At the same time, there is no denying it looks good. AstroBoomers: To The Moon’s goal is evident by the name. The goal of the rocket is to reach the moon.
Standing in your way are countless meteors that you have to dodge. All of this is depicted effortlessly owing to FunFair’s talented team of artists.
In-game features
Each round starts with a betting period. You can bet up to $300 each round. You can choose to put all that money on one astronaut or split it among three of them.
Fielding more than one astronaut allows you to play it safe with one and go for a riskier approach with another. As the rocket flies to the moon, you can choose to eject at any point.
The longer you wait to eject, the more the multiplier will build. The bigger the multiplier, the more you will win.
No special features or bonuses exist that can enhance your gameplay further. What you see is very much what you get when it comes to AstroBoomers: To The Moon.
The casino game does offer a few conveniences, though. You can choose to repeat your previous bet instead of placing it manually each time.
In the same vein, you can set Auto to eject you once a certain multiplier is reached. These are small things, but their convenience should not be underestimated.
One thing worth nothing is that the meteors flying past do not affect when the rocket explodes.
The rocket’s explosion is random; there is no skill element to it. The only thing you can do is cross your fingers and hope Lady Luck’s on your side when you play.
RTP, bet sizes and volatility
The RTP for this game is 97%. This places it a solid percentage point above the current average RTP for online slots of 96%. Keep in mind your RTP will vary depending on luck and how risky you play.
You can bet between $0.10 and $100 per round. You can spend all your funds on one astronaut, or you can send two or three simultaneously.
To place a wager, select the bet button and then choose your stake. If you want to play more than one astronaut, you will need to place a separate bet for that field. Then, press Eject when you feel like the round is about to end.
The highest possible win you can score in AstroBoomers: To The Moon is 2500x your total stake. This is incredibly difficult, and we have not seen it happen once in all our testing.
How volatile this game comes down to how you play it. You can eject early to try to keep a consistent stream of smaller wins.
Alternatively, you can opt for high-risk flights where you do not eject unless it will result in a huge win.
Verdict
When we first saw this release, we thought we were in for a standard, space-themed crash game. However, we were quite pleasantly surprised to find out AstroBoomers: To The Moon is something much more special.
The incredible graphics and simple gameplay make it very easy to get addicted to this game. We like a title that allows us to set our volatility, which this release does by letting you eject when you want.
We rate the game 4 out of 5 stars. Well worth checking out if you want to try something new.
