SkillOnNet Launches in Ontario
Published: June 20, 2025
SkillOnNet has gone live in Ontario, Canada’s most populous province, with several of its brands, including PlayOJO, SpinGenie, and SlotsMagic.
Last month, the operator received the necessary approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to launch its Ontario online casinos. The newly regulated online gambling market in Ontario went live on April 4.
The provincial regulator issued three licenses to SkillOnNet. One covered the brand itself, while the remaining two were handed to SlotsMagic and SpinGenie. They will be valid for one year, expiring on May 1, 2023.
SkillOnNet has a significant online gambling presence in several key jurisdictions in Europe, including the UK, Malta, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. The operator has already established its footprint in Mexico.
Commenting on the recent launch, Michale Golembo, Sales and Marketing Director at SkillOnNet, said:
Ontario is a really exciting opportunity, and we’re thrilled to be part of this new regulatory space and see immense potential to drive company growth. We’d like to thank the gaming commission for their due diligence and also for really understanding the value SkillOnNet can bring to this market. We provide a network of the most popular online casino brands across Europe, and it’s a joy to be able to showcase our games to Ontarians and engage with our new customers in the province.
