How to Play XXXtreme Lightning Roulette?
If the backdrop looks familiar, you are not alone. Evolution somewhat intentionally kept the original Lightning Roulette elements in this new version. However, its design is also distinct by using a different colour scheme.
Each round starts with a betting timer. Place your wagers on the betting board. Keep in mind that only straight number bets are affected by Lightning Number or Chain Lightning Number multipliers.
Casino members can continue placing bets until the timer expires. At that point, the wheel will automatically start spinning to draw the winning number.
While the wheel spins, the game picks up to five Lightning Numbers via a random number generator. Each selected number receives a multiplier ranging from 50x to 500x. Chain Lightning may also occur at this time, adding more multiplier numbers.
The wheel stops, and the ball lands in one of the numbered pockets. If your bet covers one of the winning numbers, you receive the appropriate cash prize. You would receive the multiplier if the player wagered a straight number bet on the winning number.
XXXtreme Lightning Roulette features & betting options
Alongside standard Lightning Numbers, XXXtreme Lightning Roulette offers the Chain Lightning feature. This feature can generate up to nine additional multipliers!
Chain Lightning and Lightning Numbers combined can produce up to ten multiplied numbers. You can never have more than ten numbers with multipliers active simultaneously.
Additionally, the random number generator can trigger the Double Strikes feature. This creates a second round of lightning which boosts existing multipliers. It can increase their payouts up to 2,000x!
XXXtreme Lightning Roulette also gives you the option of playing neighbour bets and various other wagers. Casino members can also save and edit up to fifteen favourite bets.
We find this to be quite a helpful feature. You can set up a stake you like and use this menu to play it rather than manually recreating it every round.
The game has a statistics page present in all of their live roulette games. It shows important details such as hot and cold numbers and the results of previous rounds. You can configure the statistics page to show you results from the last 50 to 500 games.
XXXtreme Lightning Roulette RTP, volatility, minimum stake & maximum stake
Players can bet between $0.20 and $5,000 per round. The exact table limits might vary between online casinos.
The RTP for this release is 97.1% if you are playing straight number wagers. All other bets come with a 97.3% RTP. However, other stakes cannot benefit from multipliers.
As such, players who want to take advantage of the multipliers will have to deal with a slightly lower RTP. Considering the 2,000x top prize, we find that to be a fair tradeoff.
XXXtreme Lightning Roulette hints and tips
XXXtreme Lightning Roulette is not that much different from standard Roulette games. However, its multipliers do open some unique strategies. Players can bet on all straight number wagers.
This will guarantee a win, but it will not make back all the money you bet. Not unless the winning number draws a solid multiplier.
A less risky version is to bet on a portion of the wheel instead. That way, you are not betting as much per round, though it also means you might miss an occasional multiplier.
Final Thoughts
Evolution’s release promises a more volatile, more rewarding version of their previous roulette with multipliers. On that front, XXXtreme Lightning Roulette hits the mark!
The incredible top prize is only rivaled by roulette games with progressive jackpots, such as Age of the Gods Roulette. If you love multiplier roulette and want an even more rewarding version? You should check out this game; no questions asked.
