RegionsEvolution Gaming acquires Digiwheel
Published: September 17, 2025
Evolution has signed the deal to obtain the famous DigiWheel product. They are certain this high-definition spinning gaming wheel will be a great asset to their comprehensive game portfolio. The company, a highly reputable content supplier, wants to continue to provide the best possible content to online casinos.
In an all-cash transaction, €1 million is to be paid up front, with additional compensation based on Digiwheel’s net income. The provided funds will depend on the income three years after the acquisition. The companies’ officials expect the transaction to go through near the end of 2025, subject to certain closing conditions.
Evolution always looks to strengthen their game library and offer something new to the players. With this agreement, they are confident they’ll do just that.
DigiWheel delivers a unique experience with its 360-degree gaming wheel that also works as a live online game. The wheel’s HD screen can run any money wheel title, including the entire pool of Evolution’s live game shows.
Its state-of-the-art digital technology will surely empower Evolution’s offer of live casino games and game shows. Their library already has such wheel-based games as Crazy Time, Dream Catcher and many others.
DigiWheel will keep the brand of its own while being a part of Evolution, adding even more diversity to their content. Other highly successful content providers are also in the group, including NetEnt, Red Tiger and Ezugi. DigiWheel will still have a chance to create their games and offer them to a broader range of fans.
Commenting on this announcement, Evolution Group CEO Martin Carlesund, stated:
We are always looking out for interesting technology and have been impressed by what DigiWheel have developed. I am delighted we have reached this agreement. DigiWheel is an excellent fit with Evolution’s product offering. We have had successes with wheel games and, of course, we are committed to creating the most immersive and exciting gaming experiences available in online casino.
