RegionsEvolution releases classic Asian bead game
Published: September 20, 2025
Evolution Gaming has unveiled a live version of an ancient Asian game Fan Tan.
This classic, the forgotten pastime is set in a remarkable studio sure to delight all the players. Highly authentic and largely unseen in modern days, Fan Tan Live brings a sense of mystery and magic to its players.
Evolution is, quite expectedly, the first mainstream company to offer a live casino version of Fan Tan. This highly reputable content provider gives you a game as beautiful and easy to play as it is entertaining. A wide range of additional features gives this game an extra flavour, making it thrilling and unforgettable.
Fan Tan is essentially a simple prediction game based upon the separation of beads. The beads are covered by a special glass dome at the beginning of the game.
The dealer singles out a random number of them while bets are being placed. Using a special bamboo stick, the dealer then separates the beads into orderly groups of four. This lasts until the final group of beads remains.
You need to predict the correct final number of beads to win the game. You can guess the number from 1 to 4 and win the basic Fan Tan bet. However, there are multiple other bets to choose from, including Odd/Even, Big/Small, and other variants for enthusiasts.
Nim, Kwok and Sheh-sam-hong offer a multitude of various winning possibilities that will delight the players. All this, alongside live scoreboards and statistics, makes playing Fan Tan a highly enjoyable experience.
Commenting on the new release, Todd Haushalter, CPO at Evolution, stated:
Fan Tan is an ancient and largely forgotten about game but we wanted to pay it respect with this fresh and modern version. We will introduce the game to a whole new generation of players and it is a great way to entertain Baccarat players when they are looking for an alternative to their main game.
The game was released on September 15, 2025, and you can play it at online casinos offering Evolution games.
