RegionsInspired Receives Approval to Enter Ontario’s Market
Published: April 2, 2025
Inspired Gaming has joined the list of suppliers approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Following this step, the gaming company will be ready to offer its products to players in Canada’s most populous province in Q2 2025.
By the time the newly regulated market Ontario goes live on April 4, Inspired Entertainment will have a certified portfolio of 25 online slots, including such popular hits as Big Fishing Fortune, Big Spin Bonus, and Space Invaders.
The company is already present in the Canadian market, with Loto-Quebec offering the supplier’s content on its real money online casino.
TheScore Bet, Penn National Gaming’s subsidiary, PointsBet, and Rivalry Corp were the first to receive the AGCO approval. FansUnite and Rush street got their approvals earlier this month. 888 casino followed while GGPoker received the license to offer poker through a WSOP.ca site.
GGPoker and 888 are the only two operators authorized to offer poker to players in Ontario. The list of approved suppliers also includes such renowned names as LeoVegas, Bet365, and Play ’n Go.
Commenting on the Ontario license, Claire Osborne, Vice-President Interactive at Inspired, said:
Ontario’s iGaming market officially opens to licensed operators on April 4, 2025, and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the newly regulated iGaming market. With a population of nearly 15 million people, Ontario’s demographics compare favourably to states like New Jersey or Michigan, where we already operate. We expect Ontario to present a significant market opportunity for us, and we look forward to players in Ontario enjoying our games.
