RegionsPlay ’n Go connects marriage and mischief
Published: February 22, 2025
Play ’n Go, a highly reputable online casino content provider, has developed a new online slot with a Nordic mythology theme. This time, the famous siblings, Loki, Thor and Freya, will find themselves in less-than-favorable circumstances.
However, it is an occasion for good comedy and lucrative wins. Tales of Asgard: Freya’s Wedding begins with Thrym stealing Thor’s mighty hammer, Mjolnir.
To return it, the Ice King of Jotunheim asks for Freya’s hand in marriage, but she has other plans. It is up to Loki and Thor to find a way to retrieve the hammer.
That’s where the fun begins, with Thor disguising himself as Freya, intending to enter the kingdom and snatch Mjolnir. It is easier said than done, but the game’s features will help players make it out safely.
Three Scatter symbols landed on the odd-numbered reels trigger the Free Spins round. Thor is a stacked Wild on reel five, going left on every spin until finally going off the grid.
Meanwhile, the reels behind Thor spin turbulently with the characters battling each other. Thrills and chills abound in the latest Play’n GO release.
Previous Nordic titles have had Odin trying to protect the realm from the enemies and Loki attempting to steal the throne.
Play’n GO has decided to add a bit of humor to their newest slot, with the series taking a new direction. The artwork also turns more comical to complement the narrative, with Thrym throwing confetti and Thor in Freya’s wedding gown.
