Betsoft
Betsoft is an online casino software provider that has been making games since 2006. They mostly make slots but have quite a few table games and video poker titles as well.
This gives Betsoft players a fantastic list of releases to pick between. All their casino games can be played on desktop and mobile without any issues.
Its experience leaves the developer well positioned to continue growing in the coming years. Will they succeed in doing so?
- More than 200 slots
- Over twenty table games, video poker, and other releases
- They created the Max Quest game series
Best Betsoft Casinos
Betsoft games have been a part of Canadian online casinos for as long as we can remember. As such, you have plenty of operators to choose from while still getting to play their games.
However, not all real money casinos offer the full range of Betsoft releases. Their non-slot releases can be hard to find at times. If you want the very best Betsoft has to offer, we recommend checking out the following online casinos.

A couple of years ago, you could make the argument that Betsoft was falling behind when it comes to graphics. However, that is no longer the case.
Their latest releases display drastically improved visual fidelity compared to their predecessors.
If you want proof of this, we recommend checking out Safari Sam 2, Take Olympus, or Back to Venus. These games show detailed backgrounds, cool symbol designs, and fantastic animations!
They also show Betsoft is not afraid of trying some uncommon themes. Back to Venus is a story about interstellar farmers whose plants start causing havoc.
That said, the developer is happy to supplement an occasional weird theme with familiar ones.
There are magic-themed slots like Stacked, superheroes like Spinfinity Man, and China-themed releases like Dragon Kings. Betsoft’s artists do a great job of bringing out the full potential of each theme.
Great graphics are important, but they are not what made Betsoft slots famous. Instead, that honor goes to their gameplay loop. Most of their releases are played on five-reel boards, though there are notable exceptions.
For example, Stacked shows an exciting 4×4 board which we rarely see with other software providers. Betsoft also likes experimenting with paylines, which we can see in Stampede’s 1024 ways to win.
The developer likes to keep things interesting with special features, as well. Some of their most notable bonuses were expanding Wilds with re-spins, symbol swaps, and icon collection that activates another bonus.
The volatility of Betsoft’s games usually sticks to medium or high variance. That said, it does have a few low variance releases like The Hive or Great 88.
Betsoft’s newer games usually have an RTP of 96% or more, but their older titles usually dip below 96%.
Best Betsoft Slots
When a software provider has been making online slots as long as Betsoft has, picking favourites can be a challenging task. Players love some of their older releases, but those slots no longer stack up when compared to modern titles.
We looked at several factors when making our decision. Special features, graphics, volatility, and jackpots were our four primary criteria. Based on this, we selected the following games as Betsoft’s best slots.
#1 Lava Gold
#2 Mr Macau
#3 Stacked
Betsoft Games
Fans of table games have no doubt come across Betsoft’s library of games before. The developer has created a treasure trove of interesting releases for casino members to enjoy.
Blackjack fans can look forward to five types of blackjack: American, European, Single Deck, 21 Burn, and Super 7 Blackjack. You can also find other common table games like Roulette and Baccarat.
Betsoft also has less common releases like Craps, Pai Gow Poker, Three Card Rummy, Red Dog, and Draw High Low. The wide variety of releases keeps things interesting for players.
Our personal favourite in this category is Triple Edge Poker. It plays with three cards instead of five, and you can play three hands simultaneously.
Finally, we have Betsoft games that do not fit into any other category. This list includes their Virtual Racebook 3D release, as well as the Max Quest series.
Max Quest has players shooting at enemies, trying to bring them down to earn cash prizes. Each fired bullet is considered a placed bet, and there is no chance of missing it. Players mow down enemies and earn prizes and experience.
What to expect in the future
Like all software providers, Betsoft has done a great job expanding into new markets over the last few years. To that end, the casino brought on Anna Mackney as their new Head of Account Management.
Mackney has over a decade of experience in the industry, having worked for the UK-based Clarion Events. She was part of the team that devised and brought to life important industry events like ICE, EIG, and GiGSE.
Aggressive expansion and bringing on new talent shows Betsoft has no plans of slowing down. Just the opposite, in fact!
The company plans to continue growing further and surpassing everyone’s expectations. We look forward to seeing what Betsoft has in store for us next!
About Betsoft
Betsoft was founded in 2006, making it one of the early pioneers of online casino technology. This makes them one of the earliest online casino software providers, along with Microgaming and NetEnt.
The developer made games for desktops until around 2011 when their first mobile release launched.
For a while, the company made their mobile and desktop releases separately. Then, in 2016, Betsoft moved to their Shift platform. The platform is built atop HTML5, allowing the developer to avoid Flash.
It also meant all their games were now available on both desktop and mobile. The Shift platform also brought on better security, optimised performance, faster loading times, and ease of deployment.
Things have worked out quite well for Betsoft. The casino has snagged quite a few awards in the last couple of years. Max Quest: Wrath of Ra took Game of the Year at the 2019 Starlet Awards.
Betsoft also scored RNG Supplier of the Year at the same awards ceremony. Max Quest: Wrath of Ra also won Innovation in RNG Casino Software at the 2019 EGR B2B Awards.
Finally, Betsoft was also shortlisted to win innovation in RNG Casino Software award in 2020 for their Take the Bank slot.
