Mega Ball Review
Evolution Gaming’s Mega Ball is a Bingo-style game show that offers players an all-new live casino experience.
The game studio is electric with tension, thanks to the game’s lottery-number drawing mechanics and the big money “Mega Ball”. This final ball features a multiplier that can boost your win by up to 100x.
The swirling number balls, Bingo cards, animated live hosts, and enhanced gaming experience, combine to create a live dealer title that can pay out 1,000,000x your bet!
Mega Ball comes with flexible betting limits and a decent RTP. The maximum payout of $500,000 is also not too shabby a reward for playing on just one Bingo card!

How to Play Mega Ball?
Like pretty much all game shows, Mega Ball features simple rules and entertaining gameplay.
As soon as you fire up the game, you’re immersed in a glitzy studio with animated hosts, both male and female.
The host will greet all new players and you’ll see the Mega Ball draw machine, with 51 balls swirling inside of it.
To participate in the game, players need to buy 5 x 5 matrix Bingo cards. These cards are displayed below the video feed, so you simply need to choose how many you’d like to buy.
During the 20-second betting window, a player can buy 10, 15, or 25, up to a maximum of 200 cards per round.
As the number in the middle of the 5 x 5 matrix is always free, each card features 24 unique numbers. While Mega Ball feels and sounds like Bingo, there are numerous differences between the two games.
For once, you play Mega Ball against the house and not other players. Also, you don’t have to be the first player to complete a line to win.
Once the betting window is closed, the live dealer lets the Mega Ball draw machine start randomly releasing balls.
20 balls are drawn from a total of 51 balls and the numbers are automatically marked on your cards.
Players win payouts if they form vertical, horizontal, or diagonal lines. The more lines you complete, the bigger the payout.
Although it’s extremely rare, you can complete up to 12 winning lines per card. As the balls are drawn, the game automatically sorts your cards and puts the ones closest to winning on top of the pile.
As it may be difficult to keep up with multiple cards, the Mega Ball interface shows you which balls you need and how much prize money you’ll win if these numbers drop.
Players can, therefore, always be able to see what they stand to win in the rest of the round.
After the 20 regular balls are drawn, 1 or 2 Mega Balls are then drawn as well, which come with a multiplier of up to 100x.
If this Mega Ball fills up one or more lines, the payout from that win line is multiplied. If 2 Mega Balls are drawn, then only the highest multiplier applies. The next round then begins.
Mega Ball features & betting options
As Evolution Gaming fans have come to expect, the production value of Mega Ball is top-notch.
This setup facilitates a stable, high-quality video stream, which is a must, considering the high-octane action that players witness in Mega Ball.
Players can enjoy this game comfortably on both PC and mobile devices and there’s no limit to how many players can enjoy the game at once.
The playing interface is laid out remarkably well and includes sections like Ball History, Autoplay, and Cards.
Evolution Gaming streams this game from its posh studio in Riga, Latvia. The distinct background looks, with light, sound effects, and colour changes keep your attention firmly focused on the action during the game.
The camera shifts between the live host and the balls when the time comes to pick the winning numbers and the multiplier.
As we mentioned earlier, Mega Ball is all about getting as many lines as possible filled on your card.
The more lines on your cards, the bigger your payout per card as follows:
- 6 or more full lines – 10,000x to 1,000,000x your bet
- 5 full lines – 1,000x to 100,000x your bet
- 4 full lines – 250x to 25,000x your bet
- 3 full lines – 50x to 5,000x your bet
- 2 full lines – 5x to 500x your bet
- 1 full line – 1x up to 100x your bet
Mega Ball RTP, volatility, minimum stake & maximum stake
Mega Ball players can adjust the value of their cards and play for a minimum of $0.10. The maximum wager per card typically ranges between $50 and $100.
The RTP for Mega Ball is 95.40%, which is quite low compared to other Evolution Gaming live dealer titles.
The RTP for Lightning Roulette, for example, is 97.10%, while that for Lightning Baccarat is 98.67%.
But if you compare the Mega Ball RTP with land-based Bingo machines, which have RTPs that are sometimes even lower than 90%, you’ll see that you’re getting a great deal here.
Mega Ball hints and tips
Before they start playing Mega Ball, some players may want to know whether or not they can apply a strategy to win the game, or it’s just a matter of hoping you get lucky and have the right balls drop in the chute.
Well, both notions are correct. You’ll have to be lucky to bag massive payouts. This luck has to hold up both on the right balls dropping and the multiplier that’s spun.
However, players can certainly apply some tricks. First off, the Mega Wheel RTP is highest when you buy only one card.
If you buy more cards, the RTP drops from 95.40% to 95.05%, which is quite a huge difference.
Some players, however, choose to spread their risk by playing the maximum 200 cards with the lowest $0.10 stake per card.
This strategy works sometimes but can quickly gobble up your bankroll. There’ll be some rounds where you may fail to complete cards.
Another tip is to always bet $5 or less per card. Since Mega Ball has a maximum payout of $500,000 per round, the maximum 1,000,000x payout equates to a $0,50 bet.
Final Thoughts
Even better than Evolution Gaming live dealer game shows like Monopoly Live and Crazy Time, Mega Ball is an exhilarating game to play.
Players can enjoy the game for small stakes and still win big. The game is streamed from a top-notch studio and features animated live hosts that create tremendous tension and excitement every round.
Mega Ball features its fair share of high and lows, which create a heart-pounding rollercoaster ride of betting rounds. If you’re lucky you can win up to 1,000,000x your stake!
Overall, Mega Ball allows players to purposefully spend their time and enjoy plenty of refreshing live casino gaming.
