RegionsMicrogaming’s jackpot makes another millionaire
Published: September 14, 2025
One of the newest progressive jackpot slots from Microgaming has given out a generous prize of C$ 5,822,396.71. Ancient Fortunes: Poseidon WowPot Megaways paid out a lucrative amount to a lucky player at Videoslots Casino in Sweden.
This more-than-handsome payout transpired just a few days after releasing the new progressive jackpot slot across Microgaming’s network.
Developer Triple Edge Studios made the mythology-based online slot as an exclusive Microgaming content. It was also the first one to feature the famous Megaways engine with the WowPot progressive jackpot.
This win marks the second biggest in the WowPot history, overshadowed only by the mind-blowing €17.5-million hit in April 2025.
WowPot has produced four millionaires so far, whereas Microgaming’s jackpot network has awarded an amount of €143+ million this year. It means that their all-time wins have gone above the hefty sum of €1.45 billion.
With another massive win of €515k+ at the end of August 2025, Poseidon has already brought luck to two players. It keeps on putting smiles on players’ faces mere days after its launch. The amount paid out by the network in August 2025 is amazing, going up to more than €22 million.
Commenting on a recent massive win, CEO at Microgaming, John Coleman, has said:
It’s amazing to see another massive WowPot win dropping just days after Ancient Fortunes™: Poseidon WowPot Megaways™ was released network-wide to our customers. Congratulations to Videoslots on this impressive payout, and to their player in Sweden.
