Candy Stars Review
Candy Stars is an online slot that you definitely shouldn’t play if you are hungry because it will make your mouth water. Also, it comes with a decent maximum win of 5,000x the stake!
Candy Stars Offers:
- Free Spins
- Bonus Buy
- Multipliers
Candy Stars is a 5×3 grid slot by Pragmatic Play that is developed with 20 fixed pay lines. To create a win, the players need to land at least three matching symbols across one of the pay lines.
Although the slot may look like a classic-themed one, it comes with a few features that bring decent excitement. You can benefit from the Tumbles, Free Spins, multipliers, etc. If you are intrigued to learn more, read our in-depth review below.
Themes, Graphics, and Sounds
Candy Stars features a disco-like, boogying-down vibe. Players might likely be relieved that the developer avoided overcrowding the graphics with sugary treats like doughnuts and candy floss, which is typical of candy-themed slots. You won’t see anything else on the screen, so let’s move on to the symbols.
On the pay table, the symbols are divided into low-paying and high-paying ones. The lower-paying symbols consist of J-A Card Ranks, whereas the higher-paying symbols are depicted by four different-colored and shaped symbols. There is also a Wild symbol that substitutes the regular paying ones.
In-Game Features
For a candy-themed slot, Candy Stars comes with a really great range of features.
Tumble Feature
The tumble concept, which is available in both the main game and the bonus game, clears the board of winning symbols after a payout is made.
Symbols that are still on the reels drop into the open spaces. The tumble mechanic begins again if a new win is made after the symbols have fallen and end when no new wins are made.
Sticky Wilds
When a Wild symbol lands and is used in a win, it remains on the board. They stay on the reel until the start of the subsequent base game or Free Spin.
In the base game, Wilds start with a 1x multiplier. The multiplier grows by one with each tumble, up to a maximum of 128x. Any winnings that pass through it receive Wild multipliers.
Candy Stars Free Spins
Three Scatter diamonds anywhere on the 1st, 3rd, or 5th reels will start 8 Free Spins. Every Free Spin during this bonus round will result in one Wild landing in a random cell on the top row.
Now, any win crossing through a Wild gets multiplied by 2x and added to the total. The multiplier value increases by half with each tumble, up to 128x. During the round, landing 3 Scatters grants additional 5 Free Spins.
Bonus Buy
This mouth-watering slot also comes with a Bonus Buy feature that allows you to purchase the Bonus Game for 80x the stake.
