Golden Ticket 2 Review
If you liked Play N Go’s 2014 slot Golden Ticket, you would love its sequel, Golden Ticket 2. It’s quite an upgrade from the original in terms of graphics quality, features, and winning potential.
Golden Ticket 2 offers:
- Cascading Symbols
- Multiplier Wilds
- Free Spins
Golden Ticket 2 has a 5×5 cascading grid set up. More precisely, you can form a combination by landing three matching symbols, either vertically or horizontally.
What’s more, there are four bonus features to increase your winning chances, including wild and increasing multipliers, cascading symbols, and free spins.
In other words, this version is a worthy sequel. Keep on reading to learn about the details of this cool online slot.
Themes, Graphics, and Sounds
Like the original, Golden Ticket 2 features a circus theme, resembling the 1920s. The developers managed to deliver the golden age of live entertainment.
The background displays an inside of an old-time circus canvas, with appropriate symbols.
You can find five low-paying symbols, the ringmaster’s hat, knives, a target, juggling items, and monocycle, granting 2x to 4x your stake for 5 in a combination.
Landing 3,4, or 5 of the clown, the blindfolded knife thrower, and the ringmaster, as the high-yielding ones, offer 0.5x, 1x, or 10x your stake, respectively.
In-game Features
The golden tent represents the wild symbol, which can substitute all others or form combinations on its own. As the most rewarding symbol, it offers 1x, 3x, or 50x your stake for a combination of 3,4, or 5, respectively.
It removes the symbols from the winning combination, opening up space for new winning combinations to appear.
What’s more, each consequent win increases the multiplier by one. After the winning combination disappears from the grid, the wild symbols kick in the middle.
They remain in place until you fill the entire screen with wilds. Then, they also disappear. You can retrigger the Cascading Symbols feature for as long as you land wins.
If you land wins with the high-value symbols and fill the meter with three sections, you will trigger the Multiplier Wilds feature.
More precisely, 3,4, or 5 matching symbols on the screen fill 1,2, or 3 units, respectively.
When you activate the feature, the slot randomly adds one or two multiplier wilds on the grid, further increasing the win multiplier.
There is no standard multiplier wild. The slot chooses this character depending on the active symbols on the screen.
However, when you fill the meter, the multiplier wild will change again. Ultimately, you can get 1x, 2x, or 3x, along with 1×1 or 2×2.
Golden Ticket 2 Free Spins
During the base game, one of the rows is always marked as the bonus row. If you clear this row, you will activate the feature and get one of three options.
You can get five free spins with a 3x multiplier wild, seven free spins with a 2x, or nine with a 1x multiplier wild.
But that’s not all, as you can also trigger the Win Spin feature during the Free Spins round.
If you fill three sections of the meter, you will earn a win spin with a 2×2 multiplier wild. The multiplier wild randomly appears on the screen, rearranging the entire grid of symbols.
However, it resets between spins. You can also trigger the Win Spin feature by filling all five sections of the meter.
In this case, the multiplier wild will not reset between a free and a win spin. This, in turn, increases the amount of your final reward.
