PointsBet Signs a New Deal with MLSE Professional Sports Teams
Published: April 22, 2025
PointsBet has recently inked an important new deal with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.
Under the provisions of this multi-year agreement, PointsBet Canada is set to become an official sports betting partner for all MLSE professional sports teams.
That means the Canadian division of the renowned Australian online gambling brand will partner with Toronto Raptors, Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Marlies, Toronto Argonauts, and Toronto FC.
PointsBet, one of the leading bookmakers that made a name for itself in Australia, is one of the rapidly-growing operators on the continent.
Earlier this month, PointsBet Canada officially debuted in the newly regulated Ontario online casino market. The operator accepted its first bet only fifty seconds after going live in the country’s most populous province.
The online casino boasts its extensive offering, which provides wide pre-game and in-play options thanks to the state-of-the-art sports betting technology.
Commenting on the recent deal with PointsBet Canada, Jordan Vader, Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships, said:
We happily welcome PointsBet Canada as a partner of the Maple Leafs, Raptors, TFC and Argos as they enter the Ontario market with a well-established reputation in the sports betting industry. We look forward to utilizing our partnership to provide 19+ fans of our teams with new and different ways of interacting and engaging with the sports they love with a trusted operator in PointsBet that prioritizes responsible gaming.
