Cascades
The majority, if not all, of the features of Raiders of Fortune, are triggered by cascades. When a winning line appears, the reward is determined before all of the winning symbols are cleared from the grid. As new symbols appear in the spaces, the cascade feature is activated once again if a new win is created.
Trailways Feature
Players progress along the Trailways Trail, which is located adjacent to the reels and displays a list of rewards or modifiers as winning cascades occur. The Trail and the grid are refreshed when there are no more cascades.
Awards for Positions on the Trail are the following.
- One Wild symbol is placed on the reels in position one.
- Position 2 awards 3x Wild. Three Wild symbols are thrown to the reels at random.
- Position 3 – Free Expand. The grid is expanded by two rows, and the number of winning lines rises to sixty.
- A 2×2 or 3×3 sized Wild is added at random to the grid in position 4.
- Position 5 is known as 5x + 1 Wild. In other words, all wins are multiplied by 5x, and one Wild is set to the grid randomly.
- Position 6 is called Random Wilds. 2–5 Wilds are added to the field randomly.
- Lastly, Position 7 or 7 Free Games awards 7 Free Spins with an additional Free Spin for every cascade.
Raiders of Fortune Free Spins
The prizes on the Trailways Trails are still unlocked by successive cascades during the free spins, but the positions now provide a little something extra.
- 3 Wilds are added to the reels at random positions.
- Position 2, or +1x +1 Wild, adds 1 Wild to the reels randomly, and the win multiplier is increased by 1x.
- Position 3 is known as 6×6 + 1 Wild. The grid is expanded by two rows, the number of win lines rises to 60, and one Wild symbol is randomly positioned on each reel.
- A 2×2 or 3×3 sized Wild is randomly added to the grid in position 4. Towards the reels is randomly put one Wild.
- Position 5, or +3x, awards an additional +3 win multiplier. Position 6, also known as Random Wilds, adds 2–5 wilds are added to the grid.
- Last but not least, the 7th position, +2 spins +1x, adds two extra spins, and the win multiplier goes up by one.
What’s more, every consecutive cascade after the seventh grants another free spin and boosts the win multiplier by one.
