RegionsOLG Gaming Revenue Improves by More than 50%
Published: March 4, 2025
Bede Gaming has been a crucial part of Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s growth since the company switched to the supplier’s platform in 2020.
The Gauselmann Group subsidiary explained the platform had been the main factor behind the crown corporation’s significant improvements in digital performance, with gaming revenue improving by more than 50%.
According to OLG, its main objective is to provide a fun and safe gaming environment for its customers.
The new platform helped the corporation improve customer experience on digital and mobile gaming while keeping the highest level of responsible gaming standards.
The pandemic underscored the significance of a powerful digital strategy for operators worldwide, with online gambling setting new engagement and profit records across verticals.
Bede demonstrated that a strong digital alliance could address these difficulties. Since October 2020 and OLG’s switch to Bede’s platform, the number of active monthly customers has increased by over 60%.
Bede provides real-time customer activity data as one of its services, enabling lotteries to react swiftly and offer the relevant content to the right person at the right moment. That’s an essential resource in terms of customer acquisition and loyalty.
Apart from being focused on data analysis, the Bede platform boasts high-quality features for third-party and responsible gaming tools integration and responsible gaming tools. All of this provides an unparalleled customer experience.
Dave Pridmore, Chief Digital and Strategy Officer at OLG, said:
We strive to give our OLG.ca customers unparalleled choice and entertainment, so it is vital to us that we provide Ontarians with the highest quality gaming experience in a safe online environment. The speed to market which we enjoy with Bede enables us to deliver outstanding content to Ontarians at the time they want it, giving us a significant competitor edge.
