Mega Cash Stack Review
Money-themed slots are a sure thing when developers run out of fresh ideas and will never be out of fashion in the industry. Money is the main motive, alongside entertainment, for playing slot games, hence it is always attractive to see a good money-related slot.
Bulletproof Games and Yggdrasil have produced a good game that has a few features punters will indubitably like. However, it is far from an all-time classic, and the title is a bit misleading.
The payout potential does not precisely justify the title, but it is still a good piece of entertainment that has plenty to offer. It has its fair share of problems, too, lacking depth and base game versatility.
- Medium to high volatility with a maximum win of 2,500x the stake
- Twenty-five paylines
- Gamble, Golden Bet and Free Spins
The graphics are crisp and clean, with shiny symbols, in tune with the topic. The catchy soundtrack completes the audio-visual presentation properly. While nothing is spectacular, everything is polished and easy on the eye, justifying the luxurious premise of the game.
Only a few features are in the online slot, providing a not-too-original gameplay, but they can be attractive. If Lady Luck looks your way, hefty wins are in store for you, with the maximum win of 2,500x the stake.
It might seem mediocre, given the game’s title and look, but it is still a decent game that may attract larger audiences. Only time will tell what its destiny is, but it could indubitably have been better.
Theme, Graphics and Sounds
There can be no objections when it comes to graphics, as everything is large and shiny, immersed in dark red and gold colours. The velvet background resembles luxurious casinos, fitting the slot’s theme.
Unfortunately, the payout potential does not follow the appearance, but this slot still delivers a memorable playing experience. While the base game is not rich with features, it has its assets, especially if you invest a bit more money.
You will need a lot of time and patience to grab more substantial wins, but you might come out victorious if you are lucky. Mega Cash Stack will not make you financially independent, but it can bring you handsome payouts.
The action plays out on a standard 5×4 game grid with twenty-five paylines and a couple of features that run the gameplay. Landing three to five matching symbols on a single payline brings a win.
Low-pay icons are card suits, paying 0.8x the bet for a combination of five. Moreover, all high-pay symbols are currencies, including Euros, Pounds, Yen and Dollars.
The Dollar is the most lucrative, but pay attention if you play in other jurisdictions, for the currencies used there will be the most generous. You can receive 1.6x-3.2x the bet for a five-of-a-kind win, granting solid amounts.
There is also a Super Symbol, the game’s Logo, awarding 8x the stake for the same string. Furthermore, Wild symbols pay the same amount and replace all the regular icons in the game. As usual, Scatters activate the Bonus round.
In-game features
Except for Wilds and Scatters, the features include Golden Bet, Gamble, Free Spins and Bonus Buy. There are multiple scoring opportunities, but prizes might have been bigger.
Golden Bet
If you click on the Golden Bet button on the left of the screen, it will enhance your chances of triggering the Free Spins round more than twice.
Gamble
The Gamble feature is more complex than in most games, giving you the possibility to turn it on and off, or staking 5x the bet. If you opt for the latter, the choice will activate every time you claim a win big enough.
The player is given two stacks of coins, red on the bottom and golden on top. The first one enhances the cash win, while the second one gives you Free Spins. You can gamble the cash win to increase it by a third, by two or three times.
As for free spins, you can boost your chances by reducing the number of spins and vice versa. Players can receive up to fifteen free spins and 2,500x the stake, and the feature ends when it happens. It also ends when they lose the gambling round.
Free Spins
The Free Spins in this game are progressive, meaning every spin grants more than the previous one. Land three Scatters to go to a Wheel that determines a number of spins that can have six values from five to fifteen. Players can retrigger the feature that ends when you run out of spins.
Bonus Buy
You can purchase your Free Spins round for 100x the bet. It takes you straight to the Wheel to determine the number.

RTP, bet sizes and volatility
The game’s RTP amounts to 96%, which is the industry standard, indicating decent amount of wins.
However, the hit frequency is merely 12.5%, which is a shamefully low rate for any slot game. Furthermore, the game called Mega Cash Stack should award more than 2,500x the bet.
There are numerous betting possibilities, with the scope varying from $0.20 to $100. The range will attract high rollers and casual players alike, with many options to choose from. Adjust the parameters according to your preferences and budget and enjoy the game.
This game has medium-to-high volatility, guaranteeing substantial wins that do not come so frequently. We have already commented on the hit frequency, which is as low as it gets.
There are a few adrenaline-rushing sequences, but when you know the chances to win are virtually non-existant, it kills most of the thrills.

Verdict
Mega Cash Stack is an entertaining game that should have gone all the way and offer more prominent maximum payout. When you have a money-themed slot with a hit frequency of 12.5%, something is not right.
Every good feature or asset is annulled by something bad, which prevents Mega Cash Stack from becoming even a minor classic. This way, it is an average game that had potential to be something more, but did not utilize it. We rate it 3 out of 5 stars.
