Bon Bomb Luxpots Megaways Review
Candy slots have become commonplace across the iGaming industry in recent years. Multiple providers deliver engaging games trying to outdo the competition, relying on players’ sweet teeth to be attracted.
Going to a candy shop for the first time carries a feeling impossible to replay, but some slots have managed to come close. Blueprint Gaming’s partner, Lucksome, has developed Bon Bomb Luxpots Megaways to wet its feet with the sweets.
They have done a pretty good job with a few attractive features, fast-paced gameplay and more-than-decent wins. The game has a lot to offer, and punters will undoubtedly like it. It is hardly an all-time classic, but it is an excellent addition to the provider’s portfolio.
- High volatility with a maximum win of 25,000x the stake
- Up to 117,649 ways
- Cascades, Candy Bombs, Free Spins and Bonus Buy
The rich and colourful visuals evoke children’s dream places where everything you want comes true. In addition, the background looks like a place from Roald Dahl’s imagination, accompanied by a captivating soundtrack. These elements make up an excellent audio-visual presentation.
Add a few attractive features to the mix, blended with some lucrative payouts, and you have a memorable playing experience.
This unusually-titled online slot might not be the strongest offering regarding candy slots, but it is a great one nevertheless. Explore the candy assortment to grab handsome wins and go home with the loot.
Theme, Graphics and Sounds
The graphics are crisp and sharp with an oneiric feel, adding a dreamlike quality to the visuals. Everything is vivid and colourful, resembling a child’s perspective of a candy shop, with the grid attached to an ice cream truck.
The sounds are unassuming but befitting, complementing the audio-visual aspect suitably. While all features are familiar, they are implemented fantastically, creating an excellent gaming experience.
While you cannot expect a candy-themed slot game to be remarkably fresh and original, some perks improve the gameplay and enhance the rating.
The action plays out on a standard Megaways grid with six reels and two to seven rows with up to 117,649 paylines. You will grab a win if you land three to six matching icons on adjacent reels.
The low-pay symbols include five Candies that do not do much but return the bet, paying 1x-1.5x the stake for a six-of-a-kind combination. In addition, premium symbols include Wrapped Candies and Gummy Bears, granting 2x and 2.5x the bet for six.
The most lucrative regular symbols are Doughnuts and Cakes, worth 5x and 40x the stake, respectively. The Cake appears extremely rarely, reducing the chances for bigger wins.
Moreover, no Wilds are present in the game, but there are Candy Bomb and Cone Scatters. They carry cash prizes when they land, but Cones trigger the Free Spins round when you are in luck.
In-game features
A few standard but fascinating features push the gameplay forward, including Cascades, Candy Bombs and Free Spins with Bonus Buy.
Cascades
Cascades are a familiar asset of many Megaways slots, with the winning symbols disappearing from the grid. The new ones take their places, falling from above and creating new winning combos. As you might expect, the procedure ends when no more winning combos remain.
Candy Bombs
Candy Bombs are Scatter symbols that grant cash prizes when they land on the grid. At least three are required for an award, and the maximum is thirteen.
The amount depends on the number of landed Scatters, with eleven values ranging from 1x to 5,000x the stake. Namely, if you land three to thirteen icons, you will win 1x to 5,000x the bet.
Bon Bomb Luxpots Megaways Free Spins
Ice Cream Cone Scatters are the Bonus symbols. When you land four to six of them, you will receive twelve, seventeen, and twenty-two spins.
Throughout the round, Candy Bombs remain sticky for the next spin when they land. If the process repeats, the new ones also become sticky. Some might appear with Multipliers of x2 to x5, increasing the prize values.
Bonus Buy
When you open the Bonus Buy menu, there are three options, starting with X-plosive worth 60x the bet for free spins. It also brings the highest volatility.
Furthermore, Delux costs 100x the stake and has 7/10 volatility, while VIP (4/10) costs 300x, but there is a second chance Bonus. It comes if the total winning amount is 60x the stake or more minor.

RTP, bet sizes and volatility
The game offers an RTP of 96.2% in a regular game, rising to 96.22% when using the Bonus Buy feature. The hit frequency is marked 9/10, which seems like a satisfactory level. There is a lot to like in this game.
The betting range is not one of those things, scoping between $0.10 and $10. It is a ridiculously narrow range, denying high rollers a decent chance.
Despite the lucrative maximum win, the game is indubitably predicted for casual and occasional punters. Choose your preferences and enjoy yourself at a Canadian online casino!
This slot is highly volatile (marked 7/10), indicating more seldom but substantial wins. It is not the most thrilling game, but it has its moments and sequences. Excellent entertainment is in store for the punters, but it should have been slightly more exciting.
Verdict
Bon Bomb Luxpots Megaways is an excellent game with assets and drawbacks alike. It flows smoothly; it has a great atmosphere, exciting features, and pretty lucrative payouts. However, some flaws hamper its quality, starting from the narrow betting scope.
The maximum bet of $10 irreparably damages an otherwise fantastic release. It will undoubtedly reach wider audiences, for it is an appealing game with an always exciting theme. We rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
