Book of Mrs Claus Review
We’re all used to Santa Claus-inspired slots, but Microgaming and Aurum Signature Studios decided to bring something different to the industry this festive season. Help Mrs. Claus to accomplish the perfect Christmas and win up to 5,000x the stake!
Book of Mrs. Claus Offers:
- Free Spins
- HyperSpins
- Scatters
Book of Mrs. Claus is a bit different than the usual ‘Book Of’ slots. It’s a 5×3 grid online slot with ten fixed pay lines. To create a winning combo, the players should land at least three symbols across a pay line.
The main action is concentrated in the Free Spins game, which needs Scatters to be triggered. Another feature that Microgaming provides in this slot is the HyperSpins, and this slot also comes with Expanding symbols.
Are you impatient to see how Mrs. Claus will handle Christmas? In continuance, you’ll read our detailed slot about the holiday-themed Book of Mrs. Claus slot.
Themes, Graphics, and Sounds
As you may expect, the theme and the graphics in the Book of Mrs. Claus are totally in a holiday design.
The background which is behind the reels gives a bit cartoonish feel; more precisely, it looks like an old postcard. While you play, you’ll enjoy the perfect Christmas music.
If you’re wondering what awaits you on the reels, you’ll find a bunch of Christmas symbols. For the low-paying symbols, you will see A-10 Royals.
The players will enjoy this Christmas adventure, accompanied by an owl, a fox, a reindeer, and of course, Mrs. Claus herself, as premium symbols.
During the gameplay, you will notice a book symbol, both a Scatter and a Wild. The Wild symbol substitutes the regular paying ones, while the Scatter triggers the Bonus game, Free Spins.
In-Game Features
Although you may expect fantastic, rewarding features, we must disappoint you. The Book of Mrs. Claus comes with a HyperSpins feature and a Free Spins game.
The HyperSpins feature has an excellent benefit for the players as it allows them to create a win or trigger a Bonus feature.
Due to this feature, you can re-spin any reel after a non-winning spin. Of course, the re-spin of the reel has its own cost.
Book of Mrs. Claus Free Spins
Book of Mrs. Claus comes with a Free Spins feature, as any ‘Book Of’ slot, but most significant is that the whole action is concentrated in the Free Spins game in this slot.
The Free Spins game triggers by landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters. Then, you’ll receive 10, 12, or 25 Free Spins, respectively.
As soon as you start the Bonus round, one of the symbols is chosen to become an Expanding reel; This lasts throughout the Free Spins feature.

Verdict
It’s a bit surprising that Microgaming developed such a dull slot. Book of Mrs. Claus doesn’t bring anything exciting, not features or decent wins.
The theme and the graphics are pretty much the same as any other Christmas slot, and it only comes with the Free Spins. There is a lack of multipliers and other thrilling features.
The maximum win of 5,000x the stake isn’t decent enough, and it can only be won in the Bonus game. Overall, Microgaming failed a bit with this slot. We give this game 3 out of 5 stars.
