The Ultimate 5 Review
If you were looking for a decent Savannah journey slot, then the Ultimate 5 might be one of the best for you. Pragmatic Play did anything in their power to deliver a bit different Savannah-themed slot, and it looks like they made it. Try the Ultimate 5 and win up to 5,000x the stake!
The Ultimate 5 Offers:
- Free Spins
- Jackpots
- Re-spins
The Ultimate 5 is a 5×3 grid slot with 20 pay lines. The players should land at least three matching symbols across a pay line to create a win, starting at the leftmost reel. We are more than aware that there are many Savannah-themed slots, but the Ultimate 5 is worth playing.
Pragmatic Play tried to add a bit of uniqueness to the slot, and it looks like they really did. While playing, you will come across a Free Spins feature and Hold & Spin Super Boost feature. If you are willing to learn more, read our detailed review below.
Themes, Graphics, and Sounds
As we mentioned, the Ultimate 5 is a Savannah-themed slot. Of course, the 5×3 grid is located in the wild Savannah, where you can see trees, rocks, and a pond in the background.
Also, you can see part of the mountains that are far behind the reels, and from the right side, there are five different prizes that can be won during the Hold & Spin Super Boost feature.
On the paytable, ten regular paying symbols are waiting for you. As you can guess, they are divided into low-paying and high-paying ones.
You will see 10-A Card symbols for the lower-paying symbols, whereas the premiums consist of the five mighty Savannah animals-leopards, elephants, lions, buffalos, and rhinos.
Don’t worry; they won’t hurt you. They just deliver a cash prize boost of up to 20x the stake for five of their kind.
Also, there is a Wild symbol represented by a Sun, which substitutes all regular paying symbols, and due to that, you have higher chances for more valuable wins.
In-Game Features
Pragmatic Play included two Bonus features in this slot, but they are more than enough. While playing the Hold & Spin feature can land burning hot sun money symbols on the 2nd, 3rd, and the 4th reel.
These symbols can either come with a multiplier of up to 10x or one of the five jackpots. The Five jackpots are Mini, Minor, Major, Maxi, or Mega, and they deliver a payout of 25, 50, 75, 100, or 500x the stake.
If three of them appear in view, you’ll trigger the Hold & Win Super Boost feature. Once you activate this feature, all symbols disappear from the grid, and the burning sun money symbols move to the center.
This feature starts with 3 Re-spins, and they reset as new money symbols land on the reels.
What’s more, by landing new money symbols, the value of the money symbols which is next to the one that lands increases. So, the 10x becomes a Mini, and the Maxi becomes a Mega. The Hold & Spins Super Boost feature finishes when you fill all positions on the grid.
The Ultimate 5 Free Spins
The second Bonus feature is the Free Spins, which triggers by landing at least 3 Diamond Scatters on the reels. 3, 4, or 5 Scatters award you 8, 10, or 12 Free Spins and boost your cash prize for 5, 25, or 50x the stake.
The best part of the feature is that the reels randomly level up, meaning they remove the lowest paying symbols from the grid.
You can play without low-paying symbols after the 5th level up and expect to see a Wild after any level up. Also, the players can land additional 2, 3, 4, or 5 Scatters and receive 2, 4, 6, or 8 Free Spins.
