How to Play Gold Bar Roulette?
The developer goes for a wholly unique backdrop. The roulette wheel is set in front of a massive vault, with many smaller safes around the wheel. Black and gold are the dominant colours in the studio.
At first glance, this title plays identically to a standard European Roulette wheel. You have to place bets on the betting board before the timer expires.
To participate in Gold Bar Roulette’s unique mechanics, you have to play Straight Up bets. After the timer runs out, the host will start spinning the wheel to draw the winning number.
The wheel slows down and stops, and the ball falls into one of the pockets. You win the corresponding cash prize if you correctly predicted the winning number.
Gold Bar Roulette features & betting options
The unique mechanic in Gold Bar Roulette is the gold bars themselves. You do not buy into this feature. Instead, you win a random number of gold bars if you win a Straight Up bet.
Each gold bar pays 88x the current gold bar value when won. You can see the gold bar value on the user interface, next to the coin selection.
If you have more than one gold bar, you can play several bars simultaneously. Gold bar bets work identically to Straight Up bets. You have to bet on a single number and predict it correctly.
After the betting timer runs out, the host steps away from the roulette wheel. They open a safe, which contains four boxes.
Furthermore, each box has several gold bars hidden inside. The host opens all boxes, revealing between one to twenty gold bars. You receive these gold bars to play additional gold bar bets if you win.
You can win more gold bars while betting with a gold bar bet. Furthermore, you can play a chip and a gold bar bet simultaneously. Gold bars expire in 180 days if no games get played during that period.
Gold Bar Roulette carries over existing roulette side bets like the neighbour and French bets. You can save up to 15 favourite bets and play them from the menu instead of recreating them manually every spin.
The Autoplay function allows players to repeat their previously played bet for several game rounds.
The developer also added a statistics page to this release. You can use it to see hot and cold numbers, among other things. Players can configure the statistics page to display results from the past 50 to 500 rounds.
Gold Bar Roulette RTP, volatility, minimum stake & maximum stake
In this Evolution release, players can bet between $0.50 and $10,000 per spin. Keep in mind exact table limits might be different between online casinos.
The return to player for all bets is 97.1%, identical to this software provider’s other roulette games.
Despite the equal RTP, Gold Bar Roulette has serious winning potential if you get lucky. The game allows you to win up to a maximum of $500,000 in a single game round.
Gold Bar Roulette hints and tips
We cannot employ much strategy when playing this at a live casino. The feature requires players to predict the exact number that the roulette wheel will select. Betting on all numbers is not an option since you have a limited number of gold bars.
Final Thoughts
Was Gold Bar Roulette worth the wait? Considering we lost track of time playing this game, the answer is undoubtedly yes. The new mechanic is novel, though not as universally appealing as multipliers are.
You have to win some gold bars with a standard wager before you can start using them. If you like volatile gameplay and a chance at some huge wins? Be sure to try Evolution’s latest live roulette release.
