Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah Review
Get ready, and try not to be late. The Mad Hatter is hosting a tea party, and you don’t want to miss it. Microgaming and Triple Edge Studios are taking players on a thrilling adventure inspired by the famous novel Alice in Wonderland.
The colourful release features the developer’s cult Mega Moolah jackpot, and with a bit of luck, you’ll be able to learn firsthand why it’s called the Million Maker.
- Medium variance with a top payout of 2,343x the bet in the base game
- 243 ways to win
- The list of features includes Rolling Reels, Free Spins, and four progressive jackpots
Microgaming’s progressive jackpot is known for the generous rewards it has awarded to players over the years. Other features on offer can deliver nice payouts, but all of them pale in comparison to the game’s Mega Jackpot.
To make your experience exciting while you wait for your chance to take a shot at claiming the coveted progressive prize, this medium variance title offers Rolling Reels and a Free Spins bonus round. However, you won’t be able to win more than 2,343 times your stake.
Theme, Graphics and Sounds
As we already mentioned, the online slot is inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. Once the reels start spinning, players will head to a magical land, where they’ll join the Mad Hatter for an experience like no other.
Graphics are of the highest quality, while the enchanting soundtrack helps create an immersive atmosphere that will captivate you from the moment you enter the magical realm.
Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah is played on a standard grid, consisting of five reels and three rows. There are no paylines, as the slot gives players a total of 243 different ways to win.
And to win, they have to land at least three matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost one.
The list of icons includes low-value Royals, pocket watches, butterflies, teacups, and the familiar characters from the book, the March Hare and the Cheshire Cat. There’s also a Wild, capable of replacing other symbols to form additional wins.
In-game features
Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah uses the Rolling Reels feature. Whenever a winning combination is created, the triggering symbols disappear from the reels, with new ones dropping into empty positions. If a new win occurs, the process will repeat. Every consecutive win increases the win multiplier up to 5x.
The most important part of the game is the Jackpot feature. Every Wild you get is collected in the golden teapot located above the main playing area.
The teapot will randomly activate to allow players to spin the Mad Cuckoo Jackpot Wheel. It’s their chance to claim one of four progressive jackpots:
- Mini Jackpot starts at $1
- Minor Jackpot starts at $100
- Major Jackpot starts at $10,000
- Mega Jackpot starts at $1 million
In April 2025, a player from Belgium hit a staggering €19,430,723.60 jackpot while playing this game, setting a new world record!
Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah Free Spins
Landing three Scatters anywhere on the reels to trigger the bonus round. You can also use Wilds, as they can substitute for Scatters as well. Players start with eight spins on their count while landing three more Scatters or Wild awards up to 48 additional spins.
Rolling Reels are active during the round, together with the wild multiplier. However, it’s more generous here, starting at 3x and going up to 15x for four or more consecutive wins.

RTP, bet sizes and volatility
The game’s theoretical RTP is 92.02% which is extremely low but normal for a progressive jackpot slot.
Betting starts at $0.20, while $50 is the maximum amount of money you can wage in a spin.
The top payout in the base game is worth 2,343 times the total bet. That may not be much, but bear in mind there are four progressive jackpot prizes on offer, with the biggest one starting at a staggering $1 million.

Verdict
Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah did a great job designing this game, as its graphics are stunning and deliver a truly fantastic playing experience. Rolling Reels has an excellent win potential, Free Spins can also deliver handsome payouts, but it’s all about the Jackpot feature.
With the Mega Jackpot starting at $1 million, we’re sure many will give it a go, awaiting the smile of Lady Luck. Never mind the low RTP, it’s 4 out of 5 stars from us.
