10000 Wishes Review
How many wishes do genies hear over their lifetimes? Hundreds? Thousands? Millions? Alchemy Gaming and Microgaming seem to have settled on 10000 Wishes.
If you plan to make a wish yourself, prepare to wander the endless dunes looking for answers. If you succeed in finding a genie, a tempting prize awaits you. Do you have what it takes to win big?
- Medium volatility with 10,000x jackpot
- Four fixed jackpots
- Power Mode increases your odds of triggering special features
Exotic locations are always a great pick for online slot themes. They give us a glimpse into a world we do not get to see often. When combined with interesting gameplay, it makes for a fantastic experience.
With its wheel special feature and Power Mode, this game keeps things simple and engaging. If you are especially lucky, you could even take home a 10,000x jackpot.
Theme, Graphics and Sounds
To achieve such a lofty prize, you need to brave the desert. Alchemy Gaming does a good job of making the task seem daunting.
The background depicts sprawling dunes as far as the eye can see. If you toggle Power Mode on, nighttime falls on the desert.
That way, we can see numerous stars in the night sky and a small glow from the cave. A hint as to where you may find your mysterious genie.
You play this release on a five-reel, three-row board with ten paylines. The number of paylines is fixed, meaning we cannot toggle individual winlines on or off.
Find three or more matching symbols in adjacent positions that start with the leftmost reel to win. Winning combinations have to follow an active payline, or 10000 Wishes will not award the relevant cash prize.
In-game features
Land three Scatters in any position to win the Power Spin bonus. Reels one and five will become a random high-value icon.
Meanwhile, reels two, three, and four can grant a giant 3×3 high-value symbol or a bonus wheel. Land a bonus wheel in full view to activate a wheel bonus.
The wheel bonus grants one of the four available fixed jackpots. Each jackpot is colour coded to a colour you can find on the wheel.
The more valuable a jackpot is, the more difficult it is to land. You can win the following jackpots.
- The Mini jackpot is worth 25x
- The Minor jackpot is worth 75x
- The Major jackpot is worth 500x
- The Mega jackpot is worth 10,000x
Players cannot buy the special feature directly. However, they can increase their odds of landing it by enabling Power Mode.
On top of changing the background image, this drastically increases how much you are paying per round by 25x.

RTP, bet sizes and volatility
The slot has an RTP of 96.27%. This is above the current industry average, which sits at 96%.
You can bet between $0.10 and $25 on each spin if you do not enable Power Mode.
Enabling power mode changes your betting range. Your minimum bet will now be $2.5, while your maximum will be $625 on each spin. That is a 25x increase to your bet.
Despite the juicy 10,000x jackpot, the game only offers a medium variance. The maximum jackpot is incredibly rare to snag.
You can expect plenty of small and medium-sized wins to keep you going while hunting the big prize.

Verdict
How much you will enjoy this Alchemy Gaming release depends on how complex you like your slots. 10000 Wishes looks great and feels fantastic to play.
However, the special features it offers are incredibly simple. However, that does not stop them from being enjoyable or lucrative.
That said, it could get a bit boring after a while. As such, we rate the game 4 out of 5 stars. It is good, but it could be even better!
