We had to open the original Fruit Shop because we could not tell the difference at first. However, a quick comparison between the two makes it obvious how much more vibrant the new game is.
The background image is larger. The clouds in the sky and the grass on the ground are now animated. The sequel also has the playful chirping of birds and a soundtrack keeping you company as you spin.
You play this release on a six-reel board. The height of each reel changes with every spin because of the Megaways system.
A reel can be between two to seven symbols tall with every spin. The number of available Megaways also changes accordingly.
The maximum number of active Megaways is 117,649 ways. Wins are granted by finding three or more matching icons in adjacent reels, starting with the leftmost reel.
In-game features
Landing a win with any of the medium win symbols activates free spins. How many extra turns you get depends on the winning icon and how many symbols were part of the win.
Fruit icons can grant a maximum of five free spins with a six-of-a-kind win. Once free spins are active, both medium and low-win symbols can grant additional free spins.
