Jammin’ Jars 2 Review
Almost three years after the release of the original Jammin’ Jars video slot, Push Gaming decided it was time for a sequel.
A new disco studio is the place where you will be listening to catchy music as you spin the reels of an 8×8 game, called Jammin’ Jars 2.
The shiny disco ball was substituted by the cool-looking DJ jar, who is in charge of the music and the atmosphere in this tropical studio.
The main question everybody is asking at this point is whether the sequel be better than the original?
- High variance with 50000x jackpot
- Packed with features
- Excellent visuals
Who would have thought that making jam from tasty fruits could be so exciting! Grannies, please step away and let Push Gaming fans do all the hard work this time. At first glance, Jammin’ Jars 2 seems as interesting as the famous original.
The moment you start spinning the reels, you will begin wiggling your behinds with the sounds of catchy music, released by the DJ jar, which stands on the left side of the screen.
Once you start playing the game, you will definitely want more, it’s that good.
Theme, Graphics and Sounds
It will be interesting to see how players react to the new surroundings in Jammin’ Jars 2.
In the original game, the reels were set in a disco stage, and now it seems like the action takes place in a tropical bar, with palm trees and neon lights on walls.
The graphics are a bit better than in Jammin Jars, and the visuals are quite crisp. A smiling DJ jar will really make you feel comfortable during your stay in this exotic destination.
The soundtrack is simply excellent, meaning that the good people of Push Gaming made sure that the fans of the original game will come back to have a taste of the sequel.
The game is played on an eight-reel, eight-row grid. Instead of paylines, Push Gaming decided to stick to the cluster pays system, meaning that you need to make a cluster of matching symbols to win a payout.
The cluster must consist of at least 5 matching icons. Thanks to cascading reels, winning symbols are removed and new appear to fill the blank spots.
In-game features
Players can trigger the Fruit Blast feature on random spins and after any cascade.
Players will see the equaliser animation and get either one or more giant fruit symbols or an Instant Prize symbol on the reels.
The Instant Prize symbol is a new feature in Jammin’ Jars 2. Coin symbols can appear on the grid and each of them comes with a multiplier.
Make a cluster of 5 or more coins, and you trigger the Instant Prize feature. All multipliers collected from coins will be put together and deliver an Instant Prize between 5x and 1000x bet.
Gold Vinyl may also appear on the reels during the base game. Once that happens, it will be collected and stored at the DJ jar (or Giga Jar), to fill the meter.
The blank place on the reels is filled with a random symbol after the Vinyl is collected.
Collect Vinyls to progress through levels. There are five of them, and you begin at Level 1. Collect 20 Gold Vinyl to progress to Level 2.
A total of 25 Vinyls are needed in order to advance to Level 3. Collect 30 of them to move to Level 4. After that, get 35 Vinyls, and you will find yourselves in Level 5.
When you reach the max level, you will have an opportunity to trigger the Giga Jar feature. If that is the case, you get the Giga Jar to throw 3-4 Wild jars on the reels with random multipliers.
The mighty Giga Jar will also land on the reels, in a form of a 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4 symbol, hiding Instant Prize symbols. Players get 8 Giga Spins, and only Instant Prize icons can appear on the reels.
Every single one of them that lands will stick to its position until the end of the feature. Make clusters of 5 or more Instant Prize symbols, and you will get wins.
You can get extra spins during the feature. Once the Giga Jar feature is over, you are returned to one of the previous levels, but never to Level 1.
Jammin’ Jars 2 Free Spins
The Free Spins feature begins once three or more Wild Jar icons appear on the reels. Take advantage of 6 free spins and connect as many wins to boost the win multiplier.

RTP, bet sizes and volatility
The RTP of Jammin’ Jars is set at 96.40% and the volatility is quite high.
Players can bet between $0.10 and $100 per single spin.
Players should not expect big wins quite often. Long dry spells and spins with low wins are followed by short bursts of substantial payouts.
The maximum payout is set at 50,000x your bet, which is way higher than in the original game.

Verdict
In our humble opinion, the sequels are not that often better than the originals.
However, this time we are more than happy to make an exception, because we are very impressed with what Jammin’ Jars 2 has to offer.
First, there are more features on the offer. Second, the max payout is way bigger than in Jammin’ Jars.
It seems that Push Gaming took some of their best features from different titles and put them all in one product, satisfying the appetites of action junkies.
We will give Jammin’ Jars 2 a 5 out of 5 stars, and say well done Push Gaming!
