Candy Island Princess Review
Join the celebration of the Candy Coating Company and see which of the three beauties will become the next face of the company.
Candy Island Princess is a new Anime style online slot by Play ‘n Go that follows the adventures of three beauties on a tropical island.
These three lovely young ladies participate in a competition organized by the Candy Coating Company. The famous enterprise is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and is in need of a new cover face. One of these three girls will win the trophy.
- Medium volatility with 2200x jackpot
- Anime-styled visuals
- Five bonus features on offer
Do not get fooled by the appearance of the Candy Island Princess slot review. Although it comes with only three reels and 5 paylines, it is packed with additional features.
Apart from enjoying the sun and the sandy beaches, here you will have a taste of five bonus features. Enjoy the Candy Splash feature, Behind the Scenes feature, Lucky Re-Spin, Free Spins, and Jelly Jiggle Delight to get a 2x multiplier.
As for the top payout, it’s not as high as in other video slots, but you may still pocket up to 2200x bet.
Theme, Graphics and Sounds
Who would not like to be greeted by three amazing-looking girls in a tropical paradise? This will happen to you every time you start playing Candy Island Princess.
The Anime-styled graphics and a fitting soundtrack will make you feel as if you are in a Japanese cartoon. The reels are set on a stage where the competition for the next face of the company is being selected.
Behind the stage, you will see blue sky and crystal clear sea, and plenty of players will be tempted whether to stay and look at the amazing-looking girls, or to slip into something more comfortable and head to the beach.
Those of you who decide to stay should know that Candy Island Princess comes with three reels, three rows, and benefits from 5 fixed paylines.
It means that players cannot change the number of paylines they want to play with. To win payouts, you only need to land three matching symbols on a line, it’s as simple as that. You can also combine contestants for a 1x win.
In-game features
The Candy Splash feature will begin when you form a winning combo with one of the three contestants. After that, the winning contestant will expand and cover all the reels.
The Blonde contestant will get you 10x bet. The one with purple hair delivers 20x stake, and the brunette offers 30x bet.
Camera is used as a Scatter and three of them on the reels will trigger the Behind the Scenes feature. Players will win one of 6 instant prizes, which range between 5x and 2000x bet.
The Lucky Re-Spin feature is triggered when you land two out of three Ticket Scatters on the reels.
The two reels with Scatters are sticky, while the third respins for a chance to land the final Scatter and trigger the Free Spins feature.
Candy Island Princess Free Spins
Once three Scatters are found on the reels, you get 10 free spins.
Instead of landing a 1x win when you form a combo with mixed contestants, players will trigger the Candy Splash feature during free spins.
Finally, on the final free spin, Scatters will be added to the reels. Players have an opportunity to retrigger the feature up to 5 times, meaning that they can get up to 50 free spins at once.
In the end, when all free spins are complete, you will have a chance to win a 2x multiplier that is applied on your entire win.
This is the Jelly Jiggle Delight feature. Pick from three options, and one of them delivers a 2x multiplier.

Verdict
We can all agree that Candy Island Princess is not the best game Play’n Go has to offer. Personally, we are not impressed with the video slot, but we cannot say that it is a bad game either.
There are five additional features on the offer, but the product lacks ingenuity. All the extras have been seen before.
Also, we are not that fond of Anime-themed video slots, and prefer more than three reels and 5 paylines.
That is why we are prepared to give 2 out of 5 stars, because we know that Play’n Go can do a lot better than this.
