Lucky Twins Jackpot Review
The Chinese consider having twins as a sign of great luck because it is a “loophole” in the one-child policy. Who knows, maybe you will get as fortunate on the Lucky Twins slot and earn the maximum payout worth 10,000x your stake!
Lucky Twins offers:
- Wilds
- Scatters
- Three Jackpots
Microgaming partnered up with Pulse 8 Studios to develop the second release in its series. Lucky Twins offers a lower RTP than its predecessor and some extras to make up for the loss.
The action happens on a classic 3×3 grid with five fixed pay lines. In general, players aim for the Grand Jackpot in the bonus feature.
However, there are also the wilds to improve the base game. Keep on reading to find out more about the Lucky Twins slot!
Themes, Graphics, and Sounds
Lucky Twins features a Chinese luck theme. The design stems from their culture and their beliefs. It’s simple yet lavish.
In the background, you can find what seems to be a treasure room filled with gold coins. The wooden frame contains the reels and three Jackpot prizes.
The 10-A royal scale represents the low-paying symbols, the gold coin pouch and the ancient scrolls are the mids, whereas the Chinese toy, fluffy cat, and game logo are the premiums, in ascending order.
The slot also offers a wild and a scatter, explained below.
In-game Features
The lucky twins represent the wild symbol. It appears exclusively on the second and third reel and can substitute for all others, except the scatter. However, the wild cannot form wins on its own.
The chinese gold ingots symbol represents the scatter. If you land three such symbols, you will trigger the Lucky Twins Jackpot feature.
The bonus game then presents nine lucky cats. By selecting, you need to reveal three identical jackpot symbols to get a reward.
You can earn 50x, 300x, or 10,000x your stake from the Minor, Major, or Grand Jackpot, respectively. The prize you get depends on which three jackpots you reveal first.

RTP, Bet Sizes, and Volatility
Lucky Twins’ RTP is way below average, worth only 93.23%. It means that players get an average of $93.23 for every $100 put on the slot.
You can check out our list of best RTP slots, if you’re looking for a game with a better Return to Player!
The slot volatility is very high, which doesn’t do any favors to balance the RTP.
Usually, high volatility goes with above-average potential. The only advantage, at this point, is the Grand Jackpot.
Players can bet between $0.05 and $15 per spin and earn a maximum of 10,000x or $150,000.

Verdict
Lucky Twins offers a classic setup with straightforward gameplay. Most of all, players benefit from its bonus round offering three different Jackpots.
Apart from it, there is not much positive to say about it. The slot’s RTP is quite disappointing, especially as it’s combined with a very high volatility.
Also, there are no free spins. In the base game, there is no action apart from the regular paytable and wilds.
Overall, we give this game 3 out of 5 stars.
