The Dog House Megaways Review
Every nice neighbourhood has its share of lovely pet dogs. Friendly hounds who want nothing more than to brighten your day through play and big wins! Pragmatic Play launch their own take on the Megaways concept. Shall we see how well they have done?
- 12,305x jackpot
- Megaways mechanics
- Two types of free spins
Dogs come in many shapes and sizes. It does not matter what type of dog you like. Long fur or short fur. Big or small.
You will be able to find the dog you like in The Dog House Megaways. But do not let the charming atmosphere fool you.
This online slot offers innovative gameplay wrapped up in a highly volatile package. Wilds with multipliers and two types of free spins will help you on the hunt for the 12,305x jackpot!
Theme, Graphics and Sounds
We chuckled when we saw just how literally the game lives up to its name. The reels are set inside a literal doghouse!
Beyond the wooden walls, we can see what looks like a nice suburban neighbourhood. No doubt, a place full of loving owners for the goofy hounds you will see on the reels.
Each symbol comes with detailed animations. Hats off to Pragmatic Play. They truly know how to make fetching visuals!
You play this release on a six-reel board with a constantly changing height. This is due to the Megaways system! Each reel can be anywhere between two to seven icons tall.
As the reel height changes, so does the number of available Megaways. The highest number of betways available is 117,649!
Wins are granted by finding three or more identical symbols in adjacent positions. All wins must start with the leftmost reel.
In-game features
Wilds can appear on reels two, three, four and five. Whenever a Wild lands, it can appear with a 2x or 3x multiplier.
If more than one Wild is part of a win, its multipliers can multiply each other. That allows players to increase the prize of their winning combination up to 81x.
Find three or more Scatters to win the free spins round. Players can choose one of two modes. You can pick between sticky Wild free spins and Raining Wilds free spins. Neither free spin mode can be retriggered.
Sticky Wild free spins can grant a different number of free spins. How many you get is determined by the number of Scatters that triggered the bonus.
- Three Scatters award seven free spins
- Four Scatters grant twelve free spins
- Five Scatters unlock fifteen free spins
- Six Scatters award twenty free spins
All free spins bonuses can get up to seven sticky Wilds on each reel. Whenever a Wild of any size hits, it will get a random multiplier.
This multiplier can be 1x, 2x or 3x. These sticky Wilds will remain in place, and cannot be moved until free spins end.
Raining Wilds free spins checks how many Scatters activated the special feature. It then awards the appropriate number of free spins based on that.
- Three Scatters grant fifteen free spins
- Four Scatters unlock eighteen free spins
- Five Scatters award twenty-five free spins
- Six Scatters grant thirty free spins
Up to six raining Wilds can occur on each free spin regardless of the number of activating Scatters. These Wilds can also appear with a 2x or 3x multiplier attached.
