Diamond Fruits Megaclusters Review
It seems that someone said they had seen everything when it comes to fruit slots, and people at Big Time Gaming took it personally.
The following result is Diamond Fruit Megaclusters, a release boasting bright colours and psychedelic rhythms. Although the initial impression might be a little disorientating, the game offers enjoyable gameplay with decent win potential.
- Medium to high volatility with a jackpot of 6,650 times your bet
- The Cluster Pays mechanic
- Wild Cannon, free spins, and the Fourways Reaction system are there to help players win
Don’t expect a feature-rich online slot, as Diamond Fruits Megaclusters offers a Win Cannon bonus and free spins, although the innovative Foursome Reach system does add a bit more excitement.
When it comes to potential prizes, the base game hardly offers any thrill, as you won’t be able to claim more than 250 times your bet. Luckily, the top prize of 6,650 times the stake makes up for it, although many will disagree this is a suitable reward.
Theme, Graphics and Sounds
If you ever played Star Clusters Megaclusters, this game will undoubtedly bring a similar feel. However, Diamond Fruits takes things to another level, with bright colours and mesmerizing background soundtrack.
Once the action starts, the carnival atmosphere is sure to captivate players and help deliver a truly immersive playing experience.
The casino game is set on a five-by-five grid, where between seven and twenty-five available positions hold one large symbol or four smaller ones.
Since the game uses the Cluster Pays mechanic, you’ll need to land at least five identical symbols connected vertically or horizontally.
Once a win is formed, the reaction system comes into play, breaking larger symbols into smaller ones and removing the winning cluster from the grid.
A Fourways Reaction system brings new icons to fill the empty positions. This may lead to new wins, which will repeat the process.
In-game features
We have already explained how the Fourways Reaction system works. It is also instrumental for the game’s only feature besides the free spins round.
After three reactions in a row, the Wild Cannon bonus gets activated, and between five and fifteen Wild symbols are placed on random positions on the grid. Players can unlock Wild Cannon in both the base game and free spins.
Diamond Fruits Megaclusters Free Spins
To activate the free spins round, players need to get at least seven reactions in a row during the base game. A total of eight spins are awarded, plus one additional spin for each reaction after the seventh one.
A win multiplier comes into play during free spins. It starts at 1x and increases by one after every reaction. Get seven consecutive reactions while the bonus is active to add three more spins to the count.

Verdict
Diamond Fruits Megaclusters may be confusing at first, as you’ll see symbols of all shapes, sizes and colours fly around the reels, but wait until you get the hang of it.
It gets really exciting in the free spins round since Big Time Gaming opted to tone down the base game prizes. It remains to be seen how players will react to this.
It’s a decent game, but it will hardly take the Megaclusters mechanic to the next level. We rate it 3 out of 5 stars.
