Goldaur Guardians offers:
- Hyper Spins
- Hero Spins
- Free Spins
Microgaming’s partner Alchemy Gaming released Goldaur Guardians as a 5×3 online slot with 20 pay lines in August 2020.
Unlike the studio’s first slot, this doesn’t provide massive jackpots but low, frequent wins.
The design incorporates entertaining and rewarding features, such as wilds, Hyperspins, and Hero Spins. Keep on reading to find out more about this cool slot!
Themes, Graphics, and Sounds
Goldaur Guardians is the perfect slot for the lovers of magic, as it displays a fairy folklore setting. The background is an enchanted forest with lots of plant life, elves, and pixies.
King Oberon and his officers protect the secret door to the prized possession. However, it’s your task to get to the fairy realm as a player and take the treasure.
The bright graphics and of high-quality, and you can hear a mystical soundtrack in the background. Three or more matching symbols create a winning combination.
There are four low paying symbols, blue, green, red, and gold fairies. However, you can also use the 1×2, 1×3, and 3×3 sized premiums.
Landing five of these high-paying symbols, Oberon, Diana, Lila, and Alaneo, grants you 2x to 15x your stake. The “W” symbol stands for the wild.
In-game Features
The wild symbol can substitute for any other, except for the scatter, and form winning combinations on its own. Landing five “W” symbols award 50x your stake.
At each spin on the base game, you might trigger the Hyperspins feature. When the reels have stopped, you can respin any individual reel at a time.
Depending on the symbols on the screen, the game will appropriate a price for this action. For instance, if you spin the reel to form a higher-paying combination, you will pay more to activate the feature.
Hero Spin is another Goldaur Guardians feature where a high-paying symbol or the wild covers the first and second reel.
You then use the 3×3 Mega Symbols, which appear on the third, fourth, and fifth reel to fill the entire screen with winning combinations.
You can trigger the Hero Spin at any point in the base game, except when you have landed a wild symbol on either of the first two reels.
Goldaur Guardians Free Spins
To get 5, 7, or 10 free spins, you need to land 3,4 or 5 scatters, respectively.
The blue Centaur symbol covers the first and second reel in the bonus round, whereas Mega Symbols land on the remaining three.
You can also retrigger this feature if you land a full Retrigger Symbol. It activates the next highest-paying symbol, after the Centaur.
In turn, this grants you higher payouts and a whole other bonus round.

Verdict
Overall, Goldaur Guardians has an entertaining theme and offer an engaging experience. Even so, it doesn’t provide as high of potential as other high volatility slots.
The developers mostly delivered a set-up for one target and volatility for another group. So, the game certainly lacks balance in features.
We give this game a rating of 3 out of 5 stars because of the Free Spins feature.
In theory, you can trigger bonus rounds indefinitely; however, you need lots of luck for this.
