House of Doom 2 The Crypt Review
If you liked Play ‘n GO’s 2018 slot, House of Doom, make sure to check its sequel. Not only can you play it in three different game zones, but you can also use its many features to increase your payout!
House of Doom 2: The Crypt offers:
- Free Spins
- Re-Spins
- Crypt Spins
House of Doom 2: The Crypt features a 5×3 grid with 20 pay lines. The online slot provides a unique theme and a wide array of features, including expanding wilds, scatters, random multipliers, transforming symbols, free spins, and re-spins.
Players love the excitement the game has to offer, along with its winning potential. If this sounds appealing to you, keep on reading to find out the details regarding this slot.
Themes, Graphics, and Sounds
Like the original, the sequel has a Gothic theme, based on the Swedish metal band Candlemass’ song, House of Doom.
The overall design is quite dark and creepy, and you can hear the heavy metal soundtrack. You can find a dingy mausoleum setting and a dark purple background.
You need at least three matching symbols, from reel one to the right, to form a winning combination.
The low-paying ones consist of the royal 10-A card scale, whereas the dagger, flower, melting candle, and skull represent the premiums.
The latest offers the best payout, or 1.5x, 2.5x, or 10x your stake for a combination of 3, 4, or 5, respectively.
The slot also offers three different wilds in the base game and a fourth one in the Crypt Spins feature.
All wilds can substitute for regulars and grant you 25x your stake for a combination of five.
In-game Features
The Spirit Gate can appear anywhere on the reels, at any point in your game. If you manage to land a wild on it, you will trigger the Spirit Gate Feature.
The wild then expands to the entire reel, and you get a re-spin along with a special modifier.
More precisely, you can expect one of the three different domains: Queen of the Damned, Fire Mistress, or Metal Priestess.
- The Queen of the Damned wild adds additional Spirit Gates to all reels for the following re-spin.
- The Fire Mistress will randomly award you 2x, 3x, 5x, or a 10x multiplier.
- The Metal Priestess will transform all ritual relic symbols into the top-paying skull during the re-spin.
House of Doom 2 The Crypt Free Spins
If you simultaneously land scatters on reel 1, 3, and 5, you will trigger the Free Spins.
During this round, you will receive one or more Spirit Gates on each spin. When you land a wild, you activate the associated modifier.
What’s more, if you land a regular scatter with an active Spirit Gate, it will turn into a flaming crypt scatter.
If you upgrade all three scatters to Flaming Crypt ones, you will trigger the Crypt Spins. You can also activate this feature in the Queen of Damned respin.
It grants you eight free Crypt Spins and the fourth wild, the Spirit of Unity. If you land this wild in the Spirit Gate, the slot will award you one re-spin with all three modifiers.
So, you will simultaneously benefit from high-value skulls, multipliers, and expanding wilds.
